The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a very interesting event you may be interested in… please read below:
Jason Fried, Co-Founder of 37 Signals, Co-Author of Rework, and Inc. Magazine “Get Real” column writer will join the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce for an onstage interview and dialogue with audience members about work, life and how to maintain a balanced approach to success amidst the “noise” of daily business life.
Jason Fried and his partner, David Heinemeier Hansson, launched their Chicago based software company in 1999. Initially a web design firm, they began to develop various software tools in order to improve their own productivity. They eventually created such products as Basecamp, Highrise, Backpack, Campfire and Writeboard, among others. Their renegade approach to creating value and serving customers by offering less, not more, has turned their small company into a multi-million dollar business with customers around the world.
In addition to engaging in conversation, Jason will be on hand to sign copies of his book “Rework” at the conclusion of the session.
Be sure to mark your calendar for the “Dialogue with Jason Fried” speaking and book signing event on December 7th at 7:30 AM-9:00 AM at the Mid America Club (200 E. Randolph, 80th Floor). The Price is $40.00.
